San Crest Resort and Convention Center in Rizal Buenavista Guimaras

Guimaras is not all about beaches and natural views. Man-made attraction has been built anywhere within the island for every tourist that neeed to relax and enjoy. I’ve heard different places and man mdaedresorts in Guimaras and for the first time I was able to visit a new and virgin resort within the province of Guimaras. FYI: I haven’t seen and heard this one over the net.

San Crest resort is one of the newly and continsouly developed inland resort in Guimaras. It is located in Brgy. Rizal, Buenavista, Guimaras the resort is not officially open yet but it’s already accepting guest. 

The amenities of this resort so far includes: a two swimming pools (for adult and kids), they also have 3-story convetion center which according to the owner can accommodate more or less 700 guests while the rooms can accomdate 200 guests equipped with air condition and basic amenities of a full time hotel. They have also cabanas for the families who love picnic outside.  The groto is something that make’s this resort different. It is located near the hill top.

A trip going to San Crest resort is exciting. The place is mountanous and it’s important that you have endurance esp. that you need to climb before you get into the resort.

According to the owner which I have talked, they are planning to build a pool with machine-gerated waves. If this project will pursue, for sure this will hit to all tourists knowing that it will be the first resort in Western Visayas with machine-gerated waves.

Looking at the area, they can develop more than what they have right now. A zip-line might also add excitement to all the visitors. Hiking might also be an additional recreation knowing that it’s sorrounded by mountains.

How to get there:

From Iloilo City, you will ride on pumboat going to Buenavista, Guimaras in Fort San Pedro Terminal area. From Buenavisa wharf, you can hire a bicycle or motorcycle going to thw resort.
